Application

  1. Enter the online application website for the ARC
  2. Register an account (please note your username and password)
  3. Verify your account via email
  4. Log in to your account
  5. Click"Application"
  6. Click"First-time application for foreign students and oversea Chinese students"
  7. Click"Applicant"
  8. Please select the application method : Application with residence visa
  9. Please select identity : Foreign Student /Oversea Chinese Student
  10. Program of Study : Bachlor's Degree / Master's Degree etc
  11. Status of Study : Enrolled
  12. Upload documents
  13. Finish Applicant Information
  14. Pay the fee after approval
  15. Pick up the ARC at the Taoyuan City Service Center with receipt

Required Ducment

  • 2-inch color photo within 6 months
  • Passport
  • Residence visa
  • Study certificate
  • Proof of residence
    1. dormitory certificate
    2. house rental contract
    3. household register etc.

Application Fee

  • One year : NT1000
  • Two years :  NT2000
  • Three years : NT3000
  • Oversea Chinese Student : NT500
  • reissue : NT500

Notice

  1. Overseas Chinese and foreign students must apply through the online application system within 30 days after entry. Failure to apply within the specified time will result in a fine ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$10,000.
  2. If there is a change in residence address, you must apply for a change of information within 30 days from the day after the change. Failure to apply for change of registration will result in a fine ranging from NT$2,000 to NT$10,000.
  3. For the extension of the residence permit, you must apply within 3 months before the expiration of the residence period. Failure to apply for an extension within the required time will result in the following fines:
  • Overdue for less than 10 days: NT$10,000 fine.
  • Overdue between 11 and 30 days: NT$20,000 fine.
  • Overdue between 31 and 60 days: NT$30,000 fine.
  • Overdue between 61 and 90 days: NT$40,000 fine.
  • Overdue for more than 91 days: NT$50,000 fine.
