【Notice】Training Program for Overseas Chinese and International Students in Hospitality Services in Taiwan by the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications

Purpose:

To promote participation in the “Training Program for Overseas Chinese and International Students in Hospitality Services in Taiwan,” organized by the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications.

Details:

This event is conducted in accordance with the letter No. 01140036 dated March 26, 2025, from the Haihua Foundation (see attachment).

Summary of the program:

(1) Eligibility:

International students, overseas Chinese students, or other ethnic Chinese students currently studying or graduated from Taiwan’s public or private universities and colleges outside the field of tourism/hospitality-related departments.

(2) Location:

Tempus Hotel, Taichung City

(3) Course Structure:

The training includes a total of 80 hours focusing on the departments and service areas in the hospitality industry (housekeeping, cleaning, front desk, reservations, and restaurant services).

24 hours: Intensive training

56 hours: Practical training

(4) Schedule:

Intensive training course: April 21 to April 23, 2025

Practical training: To be arranged during May at partner hotels participating in the program

(5) Cost & Accommodation:

There is no registration fee, and meals and accommodation will be provided during the intensive training period.
