【China】Spring 2026 (114-2) Exchange Program – Application Announcement for Mainland China Partner Schools

 

1. Exchange Duration:

Spring Semester 2026 (114-2) – One semester only

(Exchange to Mainland China is limited to one semester)

 

2. Eligibility:

Current students of Kainan University, including undergraduate students (Years 1–3, day and night divisions)

 

First-year master’s students

 

Transfer students must have completed at least one year of study at Kainan University

(Grade level requirements remain the same)

 

3. Required Documents:

Application Form for Exchange Program to Mainland China

 

Official Chinese transcript (including class ranking and percentage)

– Each semester GPA must be 75 or above

 

Autobiography and Study Plan (at least 1,000 words)

 

Parent/Guardian Consent Form

 

Any other supporting documents helpful for evaluation

Henan University

 

Southeast University

 

5. Submission Notes:

You may select up to 3 preferences – use full university names; abbreviations are not allowed

 

Transcripts must be official and issued by the Registrar's Office

 

Application form must be typed (except signature and seal fields)

 

Parent/Guardian Consent Form must be signed and sealed

 

Submitted documents will not be returned; please make copies for your own reference

 

Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted

 

6. Submission Location:

Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs (Room B112, 1F, Building B)

 

7. Timeline:

Application Deadline: From today until March 5, 2025 (Wednesday), 5:00 PM

 

Document Review Results: Announced on March 7, 2025 (Friday), after 3:00 PM

 

Interview Date: March 12, 2025 (Wednesday) – Exact time and location to be announced

 

Final Admission List (Tentative): Announced on March 19, 2025 (Wednesday), after 3:00 PM

 

Final decision is subject to approval by the partner university

Any schedule changes will be announced on the OICA website

 

8. Post-Screening Procedures:

Applicants who pass the university’s review must also go through additional screening by the partner university.

 

9. Information Session:

Topics will include application procedures, language requirements of each partner university, etc.

 

10. Important Travel Safety Notice (For China, Hong Kong, Macau):

Please be aware of recent updates to laws in Mainland China and special administrative regions that may affect travelers, including:

 

National Security Law, Cybersecurity Law, Counter-Espionage Law

 

Administrative enforcement rules allow inspection of travelers' personal belongings, electronic devices, etc.

 

As of June 27, 2024, Taiwan’s travel advisory for China, Hong Kong, and Macau has been raised to Orange Alert

 

Avoid photographing sensitive areas (e.g., ports, military zones) or carrying politically sensitive materials (e.g., books on politics, religion, or history)
