The course selection schedule for the 1141 semester (as announced on the homepage of Kainan University's 114 academic year calendar) is as follows:

  • 114/08/19 (Tue) 10:00 – 114/08/25(Mon) 22:00: Preliminary Registration (Current Students) -> No cross-department registration; excess applicants will be selected by lottery.
  • 114/08/26 (Tue) 15:00: Preliminary Registration Results Announcement.
  • 114/08/26 (Tue) 10:00 – 114/11/28 (Fri) 22:00: Course Drop Application.
  • 114/08/27 (Wed) 10:00 – 22:00: Post-Preliminary Registration Course Withdrawal.
  • 114/08/28 (Thu): Deletion of Non-compliant Course Selections after Withdrawal.
  • 114/09/02 (Tus) 10:00 – 114/09/05 (Fri) 22:00: First Round of Course Add/Drop for All Years (No cross-department course selection).
  • 114/09/08 (Mon) 10:00 – 114/09/29 (Mon) 22:00: Overload Course Application.
  • 114/09/12 (Fri) 10:00 – 22:00: Immediate Course Add/Drop for New Students (Cross-department course selection allowed).
  • 114/09/15 (Mon): Semester Begins.
  • 114/09/16 (Tue) 10:00 – 114/09/22 (Mon) 22:00: Second Round of Course Add/Drop -> Cross-department course selection allowed; exemptions can be withdrawn during this period.
  • 114/09/24 (Wed) 10:00 – 114/09/29 (Mon) 22:00: Course Correction.
  • 114/09/24 (Wed) 10:00 – 114/10/02 (Thu) 22:00: Course Confirmation.
  • 114/11/03 (Mon) 10:00 – 114/11/28 (Fri) 22:00: Course Withdrawal Application.

First, second, and third-year students may enroll in up to 4 general education courses per semester.

Transfer students, students in their fourth year or above, and those participating in full-semester off-campus internships from their third year onwards may enroll in up to 6 courses per semester. (A maximum of 4 general education courses can be registered during the preliminary registration.)
