Dear students,
We are excited to welcome you to join the student body at Kainan University! In this letter, we will provide you with important pre-arrival information, so please read it carefully.

Please take note of the following important matters:

1. Before your enrollment, once you obtain your visa, please fill out this form to inform us of your flight number, arrival date, accommodation location, and provide a hard copy of your visa.

2. To help you adapt to the new environment smoothly, we have prepared a new student handbook for you. Please see the "Freshman Manual" tab above for info. It includes calendars, information on school facilities, and other essential details. Please read the handbook as soon as possible before arriving at the school, as it will provide important guidance and resources.

3. We have prepared a file of Information for International Students at Kainan University for you. Please fill out the Enrollment Notice Google Form.(Please choose one from the options below and fill in.)

Please click on the link in the Google Form to access the Enrollment Notice file. Please finish the Google Form to confirm that you have already read.

4. Please prepare a hard copy of your registration documents and bring both of the copies and originals to the International Affairs Office for registration. Attached is a checklist for registration documents; make sure to have them ready before coming to Taiwan.

Registration documents:

• 2-inch photo*3
• passport
• visa
• Proof of financial resources
• Admission letter
• Graduation certificate of the highest academic degree (with Chinese or English translation and stamped by the Taiwanese embassy abroad)
• Transcript of the highest academic degree (with Chinese or English translation and stamped by the Taiwanese embassy abroad)
• Medical insurance premium (3,000 yuan for foreign students, 600 yuan for overseas students)
• Health examination certificate (original)

5、Registration Procedures

Office of International Affairs (B112):

• Fill out the new student basic information form, health information form, admission notice, and proof of enrollment.
• Pay the medical insurance fee.

Physical Education and Health Care Section (S113):

• Submit the health information form and health check report.

Department Offices:

• Submit a copy of the student registration form and photos.
• Get the proof of enrollment stamped.

Cashier Section (S104):

• Pay the proof of enrollment application fee (20 NTD).

Academic Affairs Office (N107):

• Submit the original student registration form and photos.
• Collect the proof of enrollment.
