【Notice】Online Survey for the Research Project: “Assessment of Taiwan’s Environment for Attracting, Cultivating, and Retaining Talent in Higher Education – A Study on Overseas Chinese and International Doctoral Students”

Purpose:

This is a reminder to promote the online survey for the research project titled “Assessment of Taiwan’s Environment for Attracting, Cultivating, and Retaining Talent in Higher Education – A Study on Overseas Chinese and International Doctoral Students.”

The survey will close on April 15, 2025. We kindly ask administrative personnel at your institution to share the survey information again.

Details:

This survey is being conducted in accordance with Document No. 1141000131 issued on February 6, 2025, by the National Academy for Educational Research.

The purpose of the study is to understand the intentions and considerations of overseas Chinese and international doctoral students regarding staying in Taiwan for academic and research careers.

Due to the limited research period, the survey is scheduled to end on April 15, 2025. We kindly request that the Office of International Affairs at each institution re-circulate the survey link to currently enrolled overseas Chinese and international doctoral students.

The survey is anonymous. Below is a summary of its contents and instructions:

Target Participants:

International and overseas Chinese doctoral students currently studying in Taiwan’s universities and colleges

(This includes students from all regions except Mainland China; students from Hong Kong and Macau are included.)
