【Notice】TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) – April 2025 Official Exam

 

Purpose:

To inform students of the upcoming official TOCFL test in April 2025, organized by the Steering Committee for the Test of Proficiency – Huayu (SC-TOP).

 

Details:

 

This announcement is based on the official letter No. 1142000043 issued on March 14, 2025, by SC-TOP.

 

Key information:

 

Registration Period:

March 17 (Monday) to April 1, 2025 (Tuesday)

If spots remain after the deadline, late registration will be open until April 4 (Friday), 2025.

 

Test Dates:

April 26–27, 2025 (Saturday and Sunday)

Listening & Reading Test – Computer Adaptive Format

9 designated test locations:

 

National Taipei University of Education

 

National Taiwan University

 

Takming University of Science and Technology

 

Chung Yuan Christian University

 

National Tsing Hua University

 

Providence University

 

National Chung Hsing University

 

Kun Shan University

 

Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages

 

Test Fee:

NT$2,000

 

Group Registration:

Schools with more than 30 test-takers may apply for group registration.

Discount:

Test-takers affiliated with SC-TOP strategic partner institutions may receive a 10% discount.

 

Practice Test Opportunity:

To help candidates get familiar with the test format and levels, SC-TOP will host a Listening & Reading placement pre-test on April 19, 2025.

Registration fee: NT$200
