【Japan】Kochi Prefectural University – 2025 Kochi Industry and Traditional Culture Study Program

Location: Kochi Prefecture, Japan
Dates: January 23 (Thursday) – January 31 (Friday), 2025
Activities:
Japanese language classes
Company visits
Traditional cultural experiences
Exploration of Kochi’s local industries

💰【Program Cost】
Participation is free of charge.
Included: Accommodation (homestay or hotel), company visits, and cultural experience fees
Not included:
Insurance (must be purchased by the participant)
Airfare, personal expenses, and transportation outside the official program
✅【Eligibility & Review Process】
Japanese Proficiency Requirement: JLPT N2 or above (must submit a copy of the certificate)
Kainan University Internal Deadline: November 19, 2024 (Tuesday) by 5:00 PM
Submit all required documents to the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs (Room B112) before the deadline.
Incomplete or late applications will be considered voluntary withdrawal.
Selected candidates will be notified by email.
Note:
Applicants who pass the document review will be invited to an on-campus interview.
Only those who pass the interview will receive the official university nomination.

⚠️【Important Notes】
Participants must apply through Kainan University.
Do not contact the host university directly or apply independently.
After returning to Taiwan, participants must submit a reflection report within one week.
Applicants must receive consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to application.
Cancellations will not be accepted without valid reasons.
Submitted documents will not be returned. Please make copies for your records.
Participants must comply with Taiwanese law, Kainan University regulations, Japanese law, and host institution policies.
Please follow the official itinerary and do not leave the group during program hours.
As this is a group program, do not engage in behavior that disturbs others or violates the rules.
Students who fail to comply may be sent back to Taiwan immediately, regardless of the program’s progress.
Submission of the application indicates agreement to all terms and conditions.
