【Event Notice】Lecture – Rixin Dialogue: From Taiwan to the World – Deans’ Study Abroad Journeys and Practices

After their youthful years of studying at National Taiwan University, they set off across oceans, chasing ideals and stepping onto the global stage.

One pursued a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at Cornell University, advancing technological innovation and promoting national computing infrastructure and smart cities.

The other earned a Ph.D. in Political Science at Yale University, bridging academia and public service while inspiring the next generation toward a global outlook.

From their overseas education to administrative practice, the stories of Chang San-cheng and Chiang Yi-hua, both former Premiers of Taiwan, reflect the interplay of technology and the humanities.

How did their time studying abroad shape their life logic and long-term vision?

You are warmly invited to this inspiring dialogue—come and listen to the life journeys of two distinguished leaders and uncover possibilities for the next generation.
