【Overseas】Spring 2026 (114-2 Semester) Exchange Program – Application Announcement

 

1. Exchange Period:

Begins in Spring 2026 (114-2 Semester)

 

Duration: One semester or one academic year

(Maximum period: one year)

 

2. Eligibility:

All current Kainan University students, including both day and evening divisions (Undergraduates: 1st to 3rd year)

 

Graduate students (Master’s program, 1st year only)

 

Transfer students who have completed at least one full academic year at Kainan University

(Grade level restrictions apply as above)

 

3. Required Documents:

Application Form for Overseas Study

 

Official Chinese transcript (including class ranking and percentage)

– Each semester GPA must be 75 or above

 

Autobiography and Study Plan (in English, minimum 1,000 words)

 

Valid English proficiency certificate (TOEFL / IELTS / TOEIC – at least one required)

 

Parent/Guardian Consent Form

 

Any other supporting documents beneficial to the review

 

4. Document Submission Notes:

Each applicant may select up to 3 partner schools

– Please use full school names as provided in the attachment; abbreviations will not be accepted

– Language requirements are also listed in the attachment

 

Transcripts must be official copies issued by the Registrar’s Office

 

Application form must be typed (except signature and seal fields) – do not alter the format

– Signatures and seals are mandatory

 

Parent/Guardian Consent Form must be signed and sealed

 

Submitted documents will not be returned; applicants should make copies for their own records

 

Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted

 

5. Submission Location:

Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs (Room B112, 1F, Building B)

 

6. Timeline:

Application Deadline: From now until March 5, 2025 (Wednesday), 5:00 PM

 

Document Review Results: Announced on March 7, 2025 (Friday), after 3:00 PM

 

Interview Date: March 12, 2025 (Wednesday)

– Time and location to be announced

 

Final Admission Results (Tentative): Announced on March 19, 2025 (Wednesday), after 3:00 PM

 

Final approval is subject to confirmation by the partner universities

Any changes will be announced on the OICA website

 

7. Additional Review Procedures:

Applicants who pass Kainan's document screening will proceed to an English interview and further review by the partner institution.
