Subject: Regarding the “6th Overseas Ten Outstanding Youth Awards of the Republic of China” organized by the Overseas Community Affairs Foundation — Request for your university’s recommendation of outstanding overseas alumni.

Description: This is conducted in accordance with the letter No. 01140056 dated April 24, 2025, from the Overseas Community Affairs Foundation.

To recognize outstanding overseas youth, the Foundation has organized five previous editions of the “Overseas Ten Outstanding Youth Awards of the Republic of China” from 2015 to 2023, selecting a total of 47 recipients.

The awards have received enthusiastic responses from overseas Chinese communities worldwide.

Universities across Taiwan are invited to recommend outstanding overseas alumni to participate in this selection.

Key details are as follows:

(1) Application period: From now until May 15, 2025.

(2) Eligibility: Overseas Chinese youth aged between 25 and 45 (inclusive), holding Republic of China (Taiwan) nationality (or with at least one parent holding ROC nationality), who have resided overseas continuously for at least 10 years, spending at least six months abroad each year, and with no criminal record.

(3) Selection process: Includes document review, preliminary selection, and final selection, with ten winners to be chosen. Attached is the “Selection Guidelines for the 6th Overseas Ten Outstanding Youth Awards of the Republic of China.
