Letter of Concern from the President
Dear Students,
Yesterday, a heartbreaking incident occurred at another university, where a student, unable to bear the weight of cyberbullying from peers, chose to end their life... I would like to take this moment to remind everyone: when expressing your opinions and emotions online, please be mindful of the possible consequences—can you truly bear the outcomes of your words? Many young people, in a moment of anger, allow emotions to overtake reason, and as a result, their lives fall into darkness. While making mistakes is part of youth, hurting innocent people is not something that belongs in a civilized society. Each of you is a precious treasure to your parents and loved ones—and to me, as your President, you are equally cherished. Every day when I arrive at work, the first thing I do is check the President’s mailbox. No matter what happens, please know that I am always here to be your strongest support. I sincerely wish that each of you will create and enjoy a beautiful journey of life here at Kainan University. One day, we will look back and be grateful that we were part of each other’s lives.
