Lesson 16: Traveling in Taiwan
Through the topic and scenarios of this lesson, students will learn to describe the geographical environment of a place and introduce the characteristics of travel destinations.
Week 18Final Comprehensive PracticeReview and consolidate the vocabulary and grammar learned throughout the course, helping students become familiar with the 8,000-word A1 and some A2 level vocabulary from the Mandarin Proficiency Test, and improve their language abilities to pass the test.

Through this lesson's theme, students will learn about the characteristics and food of Taiwan's night markets, further understanding Taiwanese food culture and food names. Students will learn to express the enjoyment of visiting night markets and eating street food in Chinese and make simple comparisons with their own country's food culture.

Lesson 5: Welcome to My Home
Through this lesson's theme, students will learn to describe their community and the surrounding environment in Chinese, and plan the ideal home they envision. The short text introduces the cultural element of the Mid-Autumn Festival, allowing students to learn language knowledge related to the holiday.
Week 6Leisure and Entertainment
Lesson 6: Let's Go Sing at KTV
Through this lesson's theme, students will be able to talk about related topics such as going to KTV to sing, compare KTV features and differences across countries, and describe popular leisure activities in their country in simple Chinese.
Week 7Midterm ReviewReview and consolidate the vocabulary and grammar learned in the previous lessons, help students become familiar with the A2-level vocabulary from the 8000 words in the Chinese proficiency test, cultivate language skills for test-taking, and improve the chances of passing the test.
Week 8Travel and Transportation
Lesson 7: Let's Travel to Hualien by Train
Through this lesson's theme, students will learn to book tickets, make reservations, and use common Chinese phrases encountered in daily life, and use the related phrases learned to design their own travel plans, achieving a "learning by doing" goal.

Through this lesson's theme, students will be able to introduce their country's pop culture in Chinese, and comment on the features and advantages/disadvantages of the pop culture. By observing Taiwan's convenience store point collection activities, students will learn about Taiwan's pop culture and promotional strategies used in various stores.

Through this lesson's theme, students will learn to describe their learning situations in school and express their views on exams in Chinese. At the same time, students will be able to share their study abroad experiences in Taiwan in Chinese, demonstrating their learning achievements in writing.

Lesson 10: Let's Go to the Gym After Class!
Through this lesson's theme and situational teaching method, students will learn vocabulary related to exercise, fitness, and leisure activities, and discuss the pros and cons of fitness activities with classmates and Chinese speakers based on their own experiences, expressing their views on exercise and fitness.

Through this lesson's theme, students will organize and connect personal interests, personality, and major studies with the kind of job they hope to have in the future, then exchange opinions with classmates in Chinese, comparing the views of young people in the East and West on "applying what they have learned," and finally plan their future career paths.

Lesson 13: I Want to Buy a Laptop
Through this lesson's theme and situational communication teaching method, students will learn to inquire about product functions, prices, and other relevant information when shopping, and be able to describe the process and results of comparing and selecting products.
Week 15Festivals and Customs
Lesson 14: May You Have Fish Every Year
Through this lesson's theme, students will learn about the origins of the Spring Festival, Chinese New Year traditions, the "Nian Beast" legend, and the relationship between Spring Festival customs and food. Through this lesson's theme, students will be able to use the vocabulary and grammar they have learned to share and introduce the culture of their own country or a specific region, learning the importance of mutual respect in the process. Students will also further use relevant Chinese vocabulary to present the characteristics of their own national culture through images or videos, comparing cultural similarities and differences across regions, achieving cross-cultural communication.
Week 18Final Comprehensive PracticeReview and consolidate the vocabulary and grammar learned in previous lessons, helping students become familiar with A2 and some B1 level vocabulary from the 8000 words in the Chinese proficiency test, cultivating language skills for test-taking, and improving the chances of passing the test.
