Introduction of the Department
In 2023, our school established the International Division based on the Ministry of Education's "Plan for Expanding Enrollment of Overseas Chinese, Hong Kong, Macau, and Foreign Students in Key Industry Fields," with the aim of cultivating talent in key industries.
The International Division offers a 1+4 curriculum. In the first year, students take Chinese language preparatory courses. Upon completion of the first year, students who achieve a TOCFL (Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language) A2 level can proceed to the four major industry-related departments for further study.
Available Programs and Departments:
- College of Information: Department of Information Management, Department of Information and Communication, Department of Film and Creative Media.
- College of Tourism and Transportation: Department of Air Transport Management, Department of International Logistics and Transportation Management, Department of Tourism and Restaurant Hotel Management, Department of Leisure Business Management.
- College of Business: Department of Business and Entrepreneurship Management.
- College of Health Care Management: Department of Health and Nutrition, Department of Health Industry Management.
The main responsibilities of this department are as follows::
- Manage academic affairs, student affairs, and international-related matters for international preparatory students.
- Oversee the learning arrangements for preparatory students during their Chinese language preparatory period.
- Manage the daily life of preparatory students and establish a work-study counseling system.
- Handle preparatory students' consultation, life counseling, and club guidance.
- Organize course planning and coordinate with instructors for preparatory students.
- Manage the enrollment process for preparatory students and assist with applying for relevant documents and insurance after enrollment.
